Housing Rehabilitation Program Awarded to Fairmont
Fairmont has been awarded another (this will be the 4th) CDBG housing rehab grant for 10 homes. If you know of someone who might benefit from this, please send them to Village Hall. I am attaching the most current brochure for the grant which shows the qualification guidelines.
If someone has received a grant previously, they still may be eligible to receive a partial grant if a portion of the current grant remains outstanding (i.e. $20,000 grant for five years = $4,000/yr. – received a grant two years ago- deduct $,8000 ($4,000 x 2 yrs.)- would be eligible for $12,000 grant ($20,000 - $8,000).
