AGENDA FOR MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2019  THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2019 (meeting date changed as a quorum of board members are not available for the April 8th meeting).

AMarc Gewecke – Update board on RedRage Baseball and use of Fairmont’s ball field

 

B.  Skip Radke –

        -Sale of Property and building located at 560 G Street-Lot 597 Fairmont Original Town,   Fairmont NE

         (30’ x 50’ metal building with a 10’ x 12’ roll up door and overhead crane system)

         Skip will move tools from the building to his home garage and is requesting village pay for the installation of a three phase electric service to his garage located at 1100 G St. Fairmont NE; as his tools require three phase electric service.  Skip will also retain two radiant heaters in building- Board will consider purchasing property and building located at 560 G Street – Lot 597 Fairmont Original Town, Fairmont NE from Skip Radke and Skip’s the request for covering the cost of installation of a three phase electric service to Skip’s garage located at 1100 G St. Fairmont NE.

       

        -Relocation of digital community sign for increased visibility-Board will consider request for relocation of digital community sign which is currently placed on west side of Library on 6th Ave.

 

        -Increase speed limit on Hwy 6 in Fairmont – Board will consider request for increased speed limit on Hwy 6 in Fairmont.

  • Condition of streets – pot holes in streets

 

  • Request board consider gifting property rather than selling property to Mark Jarosz described as at to A tract of land being a part of Block Number Seven (7), West Addition to the City of Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska and located upon the S½NW¼ of Section Thirty (30), Township Eight (8) North, Range Two (2) West of the 6th P.M., Fillmore County, Nebraska described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East and West onehalf section line of said Section 30, Township 8 North, Range 2, West of the 6th P.M., where said center line of Wyoming Avenue produced South intersects said one-half section line and thence North 305.83 feet on the center line of Wyoming Avenue to a point 40 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 8,Fillmore Addition, thence West 284.86 feet thence South 305.83 feet, thence running East on the one-half mile line to the place of beginning- Board will consider request to gift property rather than sell property to Mark Jarosz.

 

C.  Ray Collins, Collins Construction – Proposal for street repairs in Fairmont – Board will consider approval of Ray Collins, Collins Construction Proposal for street repairs in Fairmont.    

 

D.   Jamey Pankoke, Fairmont Housing Authority – Jamey will update on village board on HUD and Fairmont Housing Authority Recovery Plan.

E.  Raine & Al Engelhardt – Alley maintenance located west of  their residence at 400 A St. which is used as main entrance for property.

 

F.  Ordinance #19-535 AN ORDINANCE TO CONFIRM THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE IN THE VILLAGE OF FAIRMONT, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS HEREIN SET FORTH, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE  (Property to be sold to Mark A. Jarosz in the amount of $3,250 described as A tract of land being a part of Block Number Seven (7), West Addition to the City of Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska and located upon the S½NW¼ of Section Thirty (30), Township Eight (8) North, Range Two (2) West of the 6th P.M., Fillmore County, Nebraska described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East and West one-half section line of said Section 30, Township 8 North, Range 2, West of the 6th P.M., where said center line of Wyoming Avenue produced South intersects said one-half section line and thence North 305.83 feet on the center line of Wyoming Avenue to a point 40 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 8,Fillmore Addition, thence West 284.86 feet thence South 305.83 feet, thence running East on the one-half mile line to the place of beginning) – Board will consider passage of Ordinance #19-535 AN ORDINANCE TO CONFIRM THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE IN THE VILLAGE OF FAIRMONT, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS HEREIN SET FORTH, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE

The village board may go into closed session to discuss certain agenda items to protect the public interest or to prevent the needless injury to the reputation of the individual and if such individual has not requested a public hearing.

This agenda shall not be enlarged later than 24 hours before the meeting except for items of an emergency nature.
