Fillmore County Wide Opinion Survey


     A Fillmore County Comprehensive Planning Program is being conducted with the guidance of the Fillmore County Planning Commission.  
The Program will include an update of the county's current Comprehensive Plan.  Zoning and Su7bdivion Regulations.  The comprehensive
plan will include a review of existing and future land use, public facilities, an economic development profile and plan. 

     The Comprehensive Planning Program will be completed with the assistance of Hanna: Keelan Associates, P.C., a Nebraska based
community planning and research consulting firm.  THe Firm is in its 45th year of serving Nebraska Communitit4es and Counties. 
Hanna : Keelan works extensively in eastern Nebraska preparing comprehensive plans, zoning regulations, housing studies, downtown
and redevelopment plans and assisting communities in building both family and elderly housing.

     The Fillmore County Comprehensive Planning Program includes a comprehensive citizen participation program, consisting of a
Community "opinion Survey" for the Cities and Villages of Fillmore County (with the exception of Geneva) and a County-Wide
"Opinion Survey" for residents of Rural Fillmore County.  These Survey will identify the most critical issues among the local citizenry,
including land development and preservation efforts that should be implemented during the next 10 years.  These Surveys will be
available on various websites and social media outlets, including Fillmorecountyne.gove and numerous Facebook Community and
government pages.
