CHAIRPERSON CALL MEETING TO ORDER

Copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted on the bulletin board in the council chambers for public inspection and review

 

Approve minutes of February 11, 2019 and March 4, 2019 board meetings

 

December 31, 2018 and January 31, 2019 Treasurer’s Reports

 

PUBLIC FORUM

 

A.   Ray Collins, Collins Construction – Ray would like to visit with the board regarding street patching.

B.   American Freedom Defenders Veterans Memorial Committee- Request board approval for street dance in City Park on 6th Ave- Board will consider approval for street dance in City Park on 6th Ave for the American Freedom Defenders Veterans Memorial Committee.

 

 C. Resolution #2019-03 Authorizing sale of property in the amount of $3,250.00 to Mark A. Jarsoz  as follows: A tract of land being a part of Block Number Seven (7), West Addition to the City of Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska and located upon the S½NW¼ of Section Thirty (30), Township Eight (8) North, Range Two (2) West of the 6th P.M., Fillmore County, Nebraska described as follows:Beginning at a point on the East and West one-half section line of said Section 30, Township 8 North, Range 2, West of the 6th P.M., where said center line of Wyoming Avenue produced South intersects said one-half section line and thence North 305.83 feet on the center line of Wyoming Avenue to a point 40 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 8,Fillmore Addition, thence West 284.86 feet thence South 305.83 feet, thence running East on the one-half mile line to the place of beginning.        - Award bid to Quality Remodeling, LLC in the amount of $14,443 for Village of  Fairmont CDBG 16-HO-  36063 Housing Rehabilitation Applicant #022- Board will consider approval of awarding bid to Quality  Remodeling, LLC in the amount of $14,443 for Village of  Fairmont CDBG 16-HO-36063 Housing Rehabilitation Applicant #022.

 

  • Award bid to Quality Remodeling, LLC in the amount of $24,999 for Village of  Fairmont CDBG 16HO-  36063 Housing Rehabilitation Applicant #023 Board will consider approval of awarding bid to Quality  Remodeling, LLC in the amount of $24,999 for Village of  Fairmont CDBG 16HO-36063 Housing Rehabilitation Applicant #023.

 E.  2019  Swim pool Manager, Assistance and Lifeguards and 2019 swim pool wages – Board will consider hiring 2019 swim pool manager, assistant manager, lifeguards and set 2019 pool wages.

       The village board may go into closed session to discuss certain agenda items to protect the public interest or to prevent the needless injury to the reputation of the individual and if such individual has not requested a public hearing.

 

This agenda shall not be enlarged later than 24 hours before the meeting except for items of an emergency nature.
